Max was pulled with 8 other dogs from a severely neglectful situation in N. FL. by animal services. 2 pups did not make it.
The FIRST COAST Chapter of ColliesFlorida Rescue got Max and his 2 sisters from the shelter.

MORE HAPPY TAILS
Crockett was very happy in his first home. Unfortunately, the new baby had severe asthma and was very allergic to Crockett. We took Crockett into foster until we found him the perfect home. He now lives on a farm and still loves to sit on  a cushion!
Callie, a sable merle, was labeled at the shelter as old and NOT salvageable!! She was scheduled for euthanasia!! One of our great network rescuers, went right over to pick her up for us. She was very thin, matted and weak when she arrived in rescue. But with lots of TLC from our volunteer foster mom’s,
just look at her now!!
Callie is probably about 7 and her new family ADORES this mature young lady!!.
It really pays to adopt an older dog!!!

Lauren’s first mom was going blind and found her too hard to handle. So she was planning to have her euthanized or sent to the pound!!  One of our networkers  happened to be at the vet and was approached about taking her in. We jumped at the chance. Fate intervened and  within days provided us with a fantastic home!!
As you can see.... Lauren and John are now inseparable!!
